- An excellent variety of weeping Japanese Maple thought to have the best, deepest red/purple colour of all the varieties.
- Weeping Maples are grafted onto a standard, usually between 50cm-1.8m, and will bush out and weep down from this height.

- Very dark, deeply incised purple foliage throughout spring and summer, turning to bright crimson-red in autumn.
- One of the best weeping Maples to hold their colour right through the summer.
Usage
- An excellent feature plant.
- Ideal in small gardens, sheltered areas, Japanese gardens, general garden planting, colour contrast and containers
- Makes a striking display when planted with other Maples.
Comments
- Will grow in full sun to shade; however, prefers protection from strong, hot winds.
- Plant in well-drained soil mixed with organic matter such as cow manure or compost and mulch well after planting.
