Foliage

• Lustrous, dark-green, five-lobed leaves change to an iridescent pink to red autumn colours. 
• The foliage holds onto the tree well into the season, longer than most other varieties of the Canadian Maples.
  

Usage

• Makes an excellent shade tree, feature tree, street tree, park or avenue tree. 
• The impact of the autumn colour when lining a driveway or fence line is very dramatic.

Comments

• Grow in full sun to part shade. 
• A hardy variety of maple that will handle most conditions, including some coastal conditions, and moderately wet soils, however, prefers moist, well-drained soil.
• Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
