Flowers

• Golden Orange/Yellow candle-like flowers are produced in autumn and winter. 
• These are very appealing to native birds.
  

Usage

• Banksia Birthday Candles are excellent for mass planting, low borders, containers, tubs and rockeries. 
• Great planted in native gardens and around proteas and other native shrubs and grasses.
  

Comments

• Plant in a full-sun to a slightly shaded position (the more sun, the better) in well-drained, acidic soil and mulch well.
• If being used in containers, use a native good quality potting mix (low phosphorus) and a native slow-release fertiliser.
