Foliage

Long, narrow, green leaves on slightly weeping branches.

Flowers

• Masses of bright-red bottle brush flowers are borne in spring and summer, with spot flowering in autumn. 
• The flowers attract nectar-feeding birds.

Usage

• Great for hedging and screening, plant 1-1,5m apart. 
• Also use in native gardens, shrubberies, roadside and commercial plantings and specimens. 
• Trim to promote bushy growth.

Comments

• Grows best in full sun to partial shade in moist, well-drained soil. 
• However, tolerates drought, coastal conditions and wet, boggy soils.
