Pittosporum tenuifolium

  • A hardy and extremely fast-growing bushy variety of Pittosporum ideal for hedging and screening.
  • Grows best in a sunny, well-drained position, but handles most soil types and conditions.

Height

4-5m or can be kept trimmed as low as 1.5m

Width

1-1.5 m

Foliage

Small silvery leaves contrast against blackish stems to give a shimmering effect.

Usage

  • Great for hedging and screening.
  • Plant 1m apart for a nice bushy hedge
  • Prune once to twice a year to maintain a nice bushy hedge.

  • Handles a wide range of conditions. 
  • Grow in full sun to partial shade.
