Viburnum tinus ‘Laurustinus’

A hardy evergreen shrub that has a bushy, rounded habit and is quick growing.

Foliage

Oval, dark-green glossy leaves which develop purplish tones in colder weather and bright lime-green colour with the new growth.

Flowers

Masses of tight clusters of tiny white flowers emerge from pink buds during winter; these are followed by blue-black berries.

Usage

  • Great for hedges, screening, general garden planting, specimens and containers.
  • Plant 1m apart for a nice bushy hedge.

Comments

  • Grow in full sun to part shade. 
  • Tolerates a wide range of conditions; however, will grow best in moist, well-drained soil.
