Foliage

• Five to seven lobed pinnate leaves are a mid-green with a pinkish/apricot tinge in spring and summer, then turning to red, orange and yellow tones in autumn. 
• Fallen leaves quickly disintegrate and rarely require cleaning up.

Usage

• Great for shaded and part-shaded hedges and screens, containers, general garden planting and espaliers.
• For a hedge/screen plant 1m apart.

Comments

• Grow in full sun to part shade. 
• A hardy variety of maple that will handle most conditions, including some coastal conditions, and moderately wet soils, however, prefers moist, well-drained soil.
• Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
