Foliage

• A very attractive maple with typical small five-lobed maple leaves. 
• The foliage is green during the spring and summer and turns to tones from yellows, oranges and reds in autumn.

Usage

• A great feature tree for small gardens, forests, groups or mass planting. 
• Also looks nice planted in groups with other maples, Japanese gardens and general garden planting. 
• Can also be planted in large containers and bonsai.
  

Comments

• Grow in full sun to part shade. 
• A hardy variety of maple that will handle most conditions; however, prefers moist, well-drained soil and protection from hot winds. 
• Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
