  • A great grafted variety of Japanese Maple. 
  • An excellent, rounded, small tree. 
  • Considered by many as having the best autumn colour of all the Japanese Maples.

Foliage

  • The foliage is very attractive, slightly larger and thicker than most Japanese Maple varieties. 
  • They are a rich green for most of the year, then during autumn, the foliage turns to an intense rich red-crimson colour.

Usage

  • A great feature tree for small gardens.
  • also looks nice planted in groups with other maples, Japanese gardens and general garden planting.

Comments

  • Grow in full sun to part shade. 
  • Prefers moist, well-drained soil. 
  • Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
