Acer palmatum ‘Dissectum Seiryu’

  • A great grafted variety of Japanese Maple. 
  • It has an upright habit and attractive fine soft foliage.

Foliage

  • The fine foliage has seven lobes, each deeply dissected. 
  • The fine, lacy tips are bright green, contrasting beautifully with the darker green of the mature foliage. 
  • The foliage turns tones of lovely reds and crimsons in autumn.

Usage

  • A great feature tree for small gardens, forest or mass planting. 
  • Also looks nice planted in groups with other maples, Japanese gardens and general garden planting.

Comments

  • Grow in full sun to part shade. 
  • Prefers moist, well-drained soil and protection from hot winds. 
  • Cultivate well before planting with compost/cow manure and mulch well after planting.
